Our Ashram and garden has been a place of worship for over two decades with the altar of our spiritual lineage of Sri Alakhpuriji Siddha Perth Parampara in the hall and Shiva murti and small Shiva linga in the garden.
In 2012 we were blessed with a beautiful large Shiva linga and the plans of building a proper Shiva temple started. The Shiva Temple was built with all natural materials and according to the principles of Vastu Shastra by devotees of Vishwaguruji under His guidance. This Shiva Linga as well as a beautiful Nandi which represents a loyal and great bhakta, protector of all Shiva bhaktas, is hand carved in a beautiful black granite stone. The Shiva linga is surrounded by murtis of Parvati, Sri Ganesha and Kartikey, called the Shiva parivar.
The inauguration ceremony of the Shiva Temple was conducted on the day of Shivaratri in 2015 by His Holiness Vishwaguruji Paramhans Swami Maheshwaranandji - the Founder and Spiritual Leader of Yoga in Daily Life, Acharaya Rajan Sharmaji - Hindu priest from Nepal and many devotees from different parts of Australia and abroad.
Followed by the Abhishek ceremony the name Om Sri Devpuriji Mahadev Jyotir Ling Manokamana Purna name was given to the Shiva Temple.
