Hailed as 'The Master System of Yoga', Yoga in Daily Life offers a systemised, progressive approach to yoga practice.

We practice authentic, traditional yoga: our classes include asanas (postures), self-enquiry meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises), yoga nidra and relaxation. We offer a range of regular yoga classes and meditation courses to suit all levels, from beginner to advanced. Speciality Yoga programs; philosophy, chakra workshops, vegetarian cooking are also regularly scheduled.


Our light-filled Newstead studio is a peaceful oasis in the heart of Brisbane, just moments away from James Street Markets, the Emporium and Gasworks. Join us for yoga and meditation in one of our practice halls, and stay for a  cup of tea in our tranquil garden or cosy sitting area.
Our Brisbane ashram is a place where you can retreat to your inner self, and discover how yoga’s ancient wisdom can help you restore a natural state of balance in your daily life.

BEGINNERS COURSES

In the Level 1 course we practice “Sarva Hitta Asanas”, postures that are good for everyone. It covers all the foundations you need for an ongoing Yoga practice.


Loosening your body, the joints and your mind. The exercises are designed for balance and of Body, Mind and Soul.

21st June was THE FIRST EVER INTERNATIONAL DAY of YOGA

It was exciting to be part of, and contribute to the first ever International Yoga Day! The day got off to a fantastic start with an opening address by Archana Singh and Mukesh Kimar from the Indian Embassy. As well as their own personal remarks, they also relayed messages and well wishes from both Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott.
